Tsinghua University Schwarzman Scholars Program is setup to prepare the next generation of global leaders, Schwarzman Scholars program is the first scholarship executed to respond to the geopolitical landscape of the 21st Century.

The Schwarzman Scholars program will give the world’s best and intelligent students the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and professional networks through a 1 year Master’s Degree at Tsinghua University in Beijing which is one of China’s most prestigious universities.

Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship programme;

1. Undergraduate degree or first degree from an accredited university or its equivalent.

2. Applicants who are currently enrolled in undergraduate degree programs must be on track to successfully complete all degree requirements by 1 August 2018 before orientation begins.

3. There are no requirements for a specific field of undergraduate study; all fields are welcome, but it will be important for applicants, regardless of undergraduate students to articulate how participating in Schwarzman Scholars will help develop their leadership potential within their field of study.

4. Candidates must be at least 18 years but not yet 29 years of age as of 1st August 2018.

5. Applicants must demonstrate strong English language skills, as all teaching will be conducted in English. If the applicant’s native language is not English, official English proficiency test scores must be submitted with the application. Acceptable test options which are;

• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL PBT)
• Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
• International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

This test for English requirement is waived for applicants who graduated from an undergraduate institution where the primary language of instruction was English.

Successful applicant will receive a comprehensive grant that will include;

8. A personal whooping stipend of $3,500

How To Apply

Schwarzman Scholars Program (How To Apply)

Applicants who hold passports from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao can apply online from 31st January to 31st May 2017. While;

Applicants holding a passport from any other countries, can apply from 17th April to 28th September 2017.
